How Does it Work?
Referral marketing is all about getting new leads and sales from referrals. When you see a campaign that says “tell a friend” you are exposed to this kind of marketing. Getting your customers excited about your business is a great way to keep them for the long hall.
Research has shown us that 77% of customers are more likely to buy based on recommendations from their friends and family! These are more persuasive because our friends share common interests, while being able to trust their opinion. When our friends buy something from a store that we like as well, we are going to trust that the item is worthy of buying because our trusted partners have it.
Everyone Involved is Satisfied
These campaigns are a win-win… win! Say you see a campaign that says ‘refer a friend to earn $50 in store credit.’ You, being the referral, receives $50 in credit, and your friend gets to benefit and have the satisfaction of going to the store. All while the store receives profit from both ends.
