Tuesday Tip: Web Design Tips
It’s time for another Tuesday Tip! This week I am going to teach you all some key web design tips!
You can watch our video here !
First , start off with a fresh homepage. Keep your homepage minimalistic and free of clutter. Most of your viewers will not read every word on your page, they will most likely scan pages, picking out keywords or sentences. Many of our customers will pick out words that mean something to them.If you can connect with your audience you are almost guaranteed more engagement. It’s better to appeal to emotions rather than just to the word count. Making pages longer in length does not necessarily make them more informative.
Make sure you design the content on your page in a clear, appealing manner. If you establish a clear hierarchy to your information on your web page it will flow, making it more aesthetically pleasing to viewers. When you allow your web page to have a distinct style to it, you will gain more recognition for being unique and creative. People want to see more on a web page than just words so throw some pictures and fun context to fully grasp the audiences attention.
Ensure that your site is easy to navigate! A site with a solid navigation helps search engines indicate your content while improving the viewers experience. Websites that do not clearly show their information are failing because users cannot access sections with ease. Make sure that you make your headings bold enough for users to see and simple enough for them to understand.
The technology in our world is growing faster than ever, so make sure your website is mobile friendly. As a business owner it is crucial that you personally test out every page, user action, and button. Knowing what the strengths and weaknesses are on your webpage will allow users to feel recognized, increasing your customer satisfaction rating and continuously updating your web designs!
