By having a clear customer service policy, you can avoid both of these situations. Having employees follow customer service policies will ensure that everything will be handled smoothly and correctly without causing the employees any stress.
Consistency within your business goes a long way. Its important to establish specific steps of action of take when a customer is unhappy. It’s equally important to make sure that those steps are being followed consistently.
It’s also important to stay consistently positive. Consistent positivity will help with employee morale, ensuring a better customer experience. Concluding your statements with a simple “thank you” can go a long way. Try to make sure that all customer experiences end on a positive note.
